About Ultimate Buildings - Standard Features
Thanks to its innovative design, every Ultimate Building benefits from the latest building technology that includes fire resistant, internally lined and insulated walls. The generous height provides a feeling of real spaciousness and the clever base design prevents any water creeping in beneath the walls. More information on the standard features is listed below.
Roof
Pitched at 17.5 degrees the light-weight yet strong, metal tile effect roof has an anti-condensation fleece lining. It is supported by grade C16 timber and finished with colour matched gable flashing and ridge capping. Available in a choice of 3 colours; Black, Dark Red and Brown. Modern square-flow guttering and drainpipes dispose of rainwater.
Insulation
To help regulate the building's temperature, the wall cavity is infilled with 30kg / 100mm rock wool insulation.
Doors
Depending on how you want to use your building you can choose either a PVCu half glazed door or an up and over garage door. There is no difference in price.
Our standard garage door is white polyester powder coated, horizontally ribbed and fully retractable. It has 4 point locking rods for additional security and has an impressive clear opening height of 2,007mm (6'7"), ample height for most vehicles (e.g. a market leading 4x4 is 1,903mm).
Alternatively, choose a white PVCu personnel door 900mm x 2100mm available with a single glazed top half or upgrade to a double glazed top half.
Fire resistance
Fire tested to BSEN 1364-1:1999 standards achieving ½ hour fire resistance for insulation and integrity.
Exterior Finish
Designed to complement surrounding properties the Standard Ultimate includes a choice of four site applied textured coatings.
